We just wanted to drop you an email to say thank you for everything. Saturday was the most magical day, everything ran so smoothly and looked perfect. We really couldn't have asked for anything more!
The barn looked so beautiful and the food was incredible, everyone said how amazing everything was. Everybody was so helpful, the whole day ran like clockwork and you even managed to swing the weather for us! 😉
We really had the best day and cannot thank you enough for how smoothly everything ran and how perfect everything was. On the day we really had nothing to think about, even Hannah didn't stress out about anything (and that is saying something).
Thank you and if you could pass on our heartfelt thanks to the rest of the team as well we would be very grateful. Everything really was perfect.

Hi Katherine,
I just wanted to say a massive thank you from us for everything that you and your team did for us to make our wedding day so successful and memorable. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better day.
From the initial viewing to planning meetings to the delivery on the day, Charles and I have been really impressed with your service and appreciate all the fine details that you didn't overlook.
All of the guests commented on the quality of the food. Some guests are still talking about the pork belly canapé now! Please pass on our thanks to your chefs.
I appreciate weddings are what you do but we can only go by what you did for ours. It was an amazing day that you delivered everything you said you would do, great job Katherine.

We got married in early March 2024 at the very beautiful Tythe Barn in Priston Mill and it was everything we’d hoped for and more!
Katie and the team were incredible in helping us set up and made sure everything ran smoothly on our day, there wasn’t one time where we worried about organisation of the day at all. We were very much in good hands with Katie and cannot thank her and the hospitality team enough for all of their hard work to make our day as special as possible for us.
The food was incredible and we had so many compliments on this from our guests too. There isn’t anything I’d change about our day and we’d choose Priston Mill again every single time if we could do it again (which we sooo wish we could)! The best day EVER🤍

Massive thank you again to both yourselves and the whole team, we still aren't over what an amazing day it was and still have people commenting on how lovely the food was, how gorgeous the venue is and just the whole day in general.
My brother Joe and his partner Codie have actually booked their wedding for The Watermill in November 2025 as they had such a good day and it left such a good impression!!

Hi Clara,
This week has flown by and we're still totally dazed from the wedding, but I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and everyone at Priston for giving us just the best day ever.
We all had such a brilliant time, we've spent this whole week reflecting with friends and family and everyone is still on such a high from the day. So many people have sent us messages complimenting Priston Mill as a beautiful venue, but also commenting on how lovely all the staff were and how delicious and plentiful the food was. Please pass on our huge thanks to all the wait and kitchen staff for all their hard work, it was very much appreciated.
As I mentioned on the day, you have been a pillar of calm in all the planning, and every interaction we had with you over the months left us feeling reassured and so much more relaxed than we had been going into it! As you have probably gathered by now, we aren't the most laid back family (!) so to have you there as an antidote to our anxiety has been invaluable, not to mention all your hard work on the day itself. You are such a joy to work with, I don't know how you do it, but you really are perfect for this job! Please also pass on our thanks to the lovely lady who took over after you left - I'm so sorry, in all the excitement we didn't catch her name!
We honestly can't thank you enough - the clichés are all true, it really was the happiest day of our lives. Our only regret is not making it longer - everyone has said they want to go back and do it all again already!

Dear Katherine and all the team at Priston Mill,
Phil and I just wanted to send the biggest thank you for managing our wedding day and all of the work that went into planning and preparing in advance. Choosing Priston Mill was the best decision we could have made, from the very start of the wedding planning process, everything felt so easy and we knew we were in good hands. We were so impressed with your organisation and always replying to our emails promptly and warmly. No question seemed silly and no request felt too big. The whole experience felt so personal and we felt like you really listened and took on board our vision for the day. We wanted to particularly thank you for managing the choir and helping make sure that all ran smoothly. And for bringing out the cake for phil’s grandparents anniversary. We felt the whole day couldn’t have ran more smoothly and you were so organised throughout but also allowed for change where needed (who saw the egg and spoon race coming?! 😆)
Everyone commented on how wonderful the venue was, how smoothly the wedding transitioned from day to evening and also how incredible all the food was.
We couldn’t be happier, everything was better than we could’ve imagined - we just wish it hadn’t gone so quickly!

Hi Katherine,
We are not long back from our mini moon and so wanted to say a huge thank you to the whole team at Priston Mill for coordinating our wedding in the beautiful Watermill, right from the initial plans, through to perfect organisation on the day. A special thanks to you and to Chris for making it such a wonderful, special event and very easy to plan (all down to you)!!
We had a fantastic day and wanted to share a couple of photos with you.
The food all went down an absolute treat, and despite ordering an excess of cheese (which we are also well known for outside of our wedding day!) and having lots left over on the day, I can confirm not a single slice was wasted as we handed it out to family and friends the following day and even took some away with us on holiday!
Thanks again for everything you have done for us, and please pass this on to Chris and everyone at Priston Mill as well.

Hi Shannon,
We wanted to say a massive thank you for all the support you gave us, for our wedding.
We had the most amazing day, and now have some treasured memories, everyone has been saying how great everything was.
Not only were you on hand to ensure all ran smoothly, you provided lots of guidance and support, which we are really grateful for. We feel very lucky to have had you their to oversee our day and to make the day what it was. Thank you very much, your hard work is very appriciated, especially going the extra mile to help with our guests.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the staff at Priston Mill for all their hard work.
The food was amazing, delicious and the presentation was stunning. We still cant decide which dish was the best, all totally lush 😋
All the waiting staff were very polite and helpful and always had a smile on their face, they are an absolute credit to Priston Mill.
We have attached some pictures from our day, but we are more than happy to send others over once we receive the official ones.
Finally, a massive thank you to everyone, we would 110% recommend Priston Mill, the most idyllic setting, with all the help and support you could ever wish for xx

We just wanted to thank you for everything over the last couple months and especially Saturday. The day was just perfect from start to finish, everything ran so smoothly, the food was incredible there were so many compliments the waiting staff were excellently and very polite whilst the weather just topped the day off.

I can’t recommend Priston Mill highly enough. We got married there last Friday and, from the moment we booked, they were attentive, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. We visited multiple times before the wedding and our planning meeting with Chris was exceptional. He understood exactly what we wanted and was able to direct and support us to make this vision come true. We were then linked with Shannon who was to be our wedding coordinator on the day. Shannon answered every question we had and ensured that we knew exactly what happen and how everything would work. She helped to set everything up for us and constantly put our vision as priority. The day was absolutely incredible- Despite being winter, Priston Mill was absolutely beautiful! The service was incredible from all members of staff who were attentive, efficient and professional. The food was outstanding and people have been commenting on the incredible beef and evening tacos all week! Shannon herself was the very highlight of our experience with Priston Mill - her thoughtfulness, dedication and unfailing customer service made the entire day run smoothly! She really was exceptional and we can’t thank her enough for our day! We were never without a drink and the staff at Priston ensured that we were remembering to eat (not just socialising!) and that we were entirely happy with how things were going. Shannon removed all potential stress and allowed us to fully enjoy the day. All in all, Priston Mill was absolutely amazing and we would highly recommend it as a wedding venue! We’ll definitely be back for an anniversary!

Thank you so much for everything you and your team did for us on Saturday. It all went so well and we had an amazing day. We are only just coming back down to Earth! You really looked after us and we didnt have to worry about anything.
Everyone has been saying how good the food was so compliments to the chefs too.

Hi Shannon,
Thank you so much for all of your help with making our wedding all that we could have hoped for. You were amazing at making sure everything ran so smoothly. We have had guests comment on how organised the day was and how all of the staff were so polite and helpful. You made us both feel so calm and relaxed throughout the day, and you even went out of your way to make sure we didn't miss out on any of the food or drinks due to being too busy dancing!
The venue was stunning, the food was delicious and we could not have asked for a friendlier team to help plan our day.

I write this review for anyone who is looking for their wedding venue. YOU MUST GET MARRIED HERE.
I am a proud newlywed thanks to the amazing team at Priston Mill. I was fortunate enough to get married in the stunning Tythe Barn, which even prior to putting your own stamp on it - is already insanely beautiful. The venue is big enough to cater for a large gathering yet provides that heart-warming, intimate vibe all brides are after.
From the initial visit to the endless emails, the planning meeting, more emails and correspondence to the day itself - nothing has EVER been too difficult. I was lucky enough to have Katherine on the lead up to the wedding and then Clara run the day, again a seamless transition which is testament to them both.
I have nothing but praise and love for our wedding day - one quote from a guest that stands out is that it wasn't just a wedding, it was an experience. The running of the day was faultless. If you are blessed to have Clara as your Event Manager, then you are in very safe hands. This is a venue that KNOW what they are doing, and they do it very, very well.
The band I had booked cancelled on us on the day of our wedding, I found this out 3.5 hours before they were due to arrive. Whilst they arranged another band, it was down to Priston Mill to orchestrate and co-ordinate their arrival, whilst still tending to our guests and the day itself - they did this all behind the scenes... if it wasn't for me telling my friends and family, nobody would have known. Incredible.
The food was bloody delicious. Nobody went hungry that's for sure! The lamb bonbons were out of this world, and the cheesecake pudding! Clean plates all round. The bar prices were soooooooo reasonable too. All the staff were friendly and clearly proud to work there, interacting with the guests. You pair the little things with the big parts of the day, and that's what separates Priston Mill from the rest.
Yes, there are other venues, but I guarantee you will not get the same level of sincerity and professionalism. I want to do it all again!
I will forever be grateful to Priston Mill for giving me my best day ever - particularly to Clara who is an absolute gem of a human being. Thank you thank you thank you. I will be back to show you all of our photos when we get them :) X

Hi Clara,
We wanted to say a huge huge huge thank you to you. We had the best wedding day ever and a lot of that is down to you! You were always on hand whenever anyone needed anything, and we couldn't have asked any more of you.
So many guests have commented on the food. It was all amazing, let's just say everyone LOVED the canapes, and that pork - wow!

I’m so sorry it’s taken a couple of days to email you, we’re still very much on cloud 9 after the most amazing day of our lives!
I just wanted to email to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making everything run so smoothly on our wedding day. You did everything with such ease, made everyone feel comfortable, relaxed and welcome and just absolutely nailed it.
Please can you thank all of the staff, from the waiters to the bar staff and everyone in between for everything that they did. Everyone was so friendly, super helpful and also so good with my little niece and nephew. They were all so polite and worked so so hard. We appreciate everything that they did!
A huge thanks needs to also go to the chefs for the most amazing food. We have had so many people come up to us to talk about how amazing the food was throughout the day!
But the biggest thanks should go to you. Your organisation was just amazing and the day was everything I imagined and hoped it would be.
One of my guests told me it was your first wedding on your own? If this is true then we are blown away! You handled it with such professionalism that we thought you’d been doing it for years! We feel very privileged to be your first!
Honestly, thank you so much for the most amazing day. We wish we could do it all over again!
